Fireproof is a great Christian movie. It talks about restoring a destroyed marriage in a Godly manner. Perfect for people who want to get married or who already are. If you did not accept Jesus as a savior yet, this movie will show you one way God brings you to Jesus Christ: anyone could be there. You will love it and enjoy your time.

I was so excited to see this movie! Who didn't enjoy watching Michael "Mickey" Seaver, back in the dayZ on Growing Pains? Well I did! I was very much wanting to see how he "acted" now that he is a christian...... This is one movie that after a LONG, HARD day at work, my Hubby didn't fall asleep! We most certainly enjoyed it! He even recommended it to our Bro-in-law! Thank you Jesus! I so loved Caleb's next door neighbor, even though at first Caleb was NOT such a good testimony to his neighbor, (then again he wasn't SAVED) but in the end......that older couple had me ROLLIN'!!! hahahaha I just enjoyed this movie SO much! I so felt the LOVE of Christ! It's NOT Women getting rewarded for their behavior...as someone commented! It's the LOVE of Christ expressed thru us, to one another! & that's how it should always be! Your spouses needs, BEFORE your own! Praise God for this movie! I only hope that everyone that sees this movie, ENJOYS it as much as my Husband and I did! God Bless YOU ALL!
Pros: EVERYTHING!! (Glory to God!)
Cons: NOTHING!

I recently watched this movie with my girlfriend, and i gotta tell you, this movie really spoke to me.... It speaks to the very heart of every single relationship out there, we as men really need to stand up and treat the woman in our life like we cherish them.... Women are like roses, water them (treat them right) and they will bloom, neglect them and they wilt.... The problem with this world today is that everybody wants to blame the other person, point the finger, accuse, when the real thing they need to do is focus on themselves and let God do a work in them..... This movie really depicts the real meaning of love..... Sacrifical Love, loving someone without expecting something in return...... and its about time that they start showing movies that touch the human spirit..... p.s. i also heard that all the actors in this movie volunteered, so none of them got paid to do this movie....pretty interesting..... it is def a message that need to get out there.... God loves you.....John 3:16.....more than you can even comprehend
Pros: great spiritual movie
Cons: none

Fireproof is a MUST SEE film! I'm going to see it again tonight for the second time. This movie represents a large group of marriages and I have heard of personal testimonies from marriages saved by (God of course) but also this movie's impact on the marriage. The message also brings people to Christ. It paints a true picture that we can not love ourselves or others until we Know Love. I got my husband "The Love Dare" for his birthday which is today. The interactive feel of the book along with the movie is amazing. It's as though you get to take part of the movie home with you. The soundtrack is also wonderful. "Love is not a fight" by Warren Barfield and "While I'm waiting" by John Waller are true Hits! This songs are Spirit filled and will move you. If you haven't seen Fireproof.. what are you waiting for?? You'll be recommending it to friends and family as well!

Just like most chick flicks, the message to us, here in the western part of the world, is always the same. "To make life better, men have to cry and beg on their knees, and reward women, for whatever behavior they exhibit." No wonder we have such high divorce rates. In these types of secular and religious chick flicks, all women have to do is sit back, and choose from a list of guys that are pursuing her, and no matter what her behavior is, she will be rewarded. Actually, the worse her behavior, the bigger her reward will be. I don't think that is a good lesson. I was hoping to be able one day to see a balanced relationship movie. Not gonna happen in Hollywood.
Pros: The whole Christian thing
Cons: Same old chick flick in which teaches men how to grovel

This is an excellent movie. It was done with a single camera and everyone including Kirk Cameron volunteered for the movie. No one was paid. Its from the Producers of Facing the Giants and its a great story of every day people living an every day life. The movie was filmed in Georgia so the scenery is beautiful. Kirk plays a Fire Chief who teaches everyone to never leave your partner behind. He spends all of his energy with friends and work that he doesn't spend any time with his wife. She in turn feels unloved by her husband. Their worlds are falling apart until his father dares him to take the LOVE DARE!!. Its an actual book and I have purchased it as a wedding present. Kirk takes on the dare to prove his dad wrong and in return he realizes that he should never have left his partner alone. Its God Inspiring and brings the Gospel to the every day person. There aren't any curse words, no blasphemy, and nothing offensive. I especially loved that Kirk would only kiss is real wife, Chelsea, in the movie as he always honors his vows. There aren't any cons and too many pros to list.. My husband cried and he's not a cryer. A great strong story that the whole family will love. Its a roller coaster emotional journey that everyone needs to take.
Pros: Thumbs Up..Good Story reminiscent of the 1950s style movies
Cons: None

The script was good but I was very surprised at the amaturish quality of the acting. Kirk Cameron was the only one who appeared to be a professional. I've seen better performances at community theatre. In spite of the poor performances, the movie was very enjoyable. This is a good movie for married couples and would be a perfect outing for your Sunday School Couples Class.

This movie is wonderfully done with tense rescue scenes, great humor, and strong values. We came home and emailed all of our friends to go see it. Too bad it's not in too many theaters right now! Nice change from all the violence normally present.

Whether you are married, single or dating this is a must see. It is a real eye opener. This movie opened our eyes to how we treat each other and how our relationship was going down the tubes. We now have a new found love for each other. It saved us and our relationship.
Pros: Will wake you up to how your relationship should be.
Cons: I did not find any cons to this movie.
