There are some SERIOUS allegations being made here. If true, I hope you reported it to the police. I will take your comments with a grain of salt. I have never been to Puddle Jumpers. I am confused by the two extreme perspectives of this facility. Can you REALLY find quality day care for less than $34 per day? I am currently paying $40 per day and supplying all the food. I have been quoted as high as $900 per month (but she didn't have any openings). I will be visiting Puddle Jumpers and make my own assessment.

I agree I do not know what half of these people are thinking Puddle Jumpers is the best daycare my child has ever been in. I love the staff they always make him feel welcome and he is learning new things everyday. The management here is always helpful and go out of their way to find the answers I am looking for. I know that they have staff turn-over but what daycare doesn't! They are always trying to improve on the program and make it work based on the individual child's needs instead of making children adapt to one way of learning. The teachers are fantastic and I can tell they love what they are doing and it shows in the quailty of care the children get on a daily basis.

Pros: Best Daycare Around

Cons: Have some turnover (but what daycare doesn't)

It is obvious staff are writing these great reviews. Any parent who has their child at Puddle Jumpers knows the staff turn-over is habitual and detrimental to children. There have been MANY times I have dropped my child off and encountered a new teacher in her room. Not only was I not told the previous had left, but was never even introduced to the person responsible for taking care of my child for the day. When I confronted the Director and Assistant, they seemed shocked that I had a issue with the situation. They also seemed to busy to discuss the fact that my child was now showing signs of distress because of the lack of consitancy. Speaking of management- Aloof and unconcerned are more accurate descriptions. As parents, are we expected to go with the flow and blindly accept that they know best, that they are the experts?. WRONG! Leaving that place was the best thing! My child now is in a stable environment, has more great days than hard ones, and is actually LEARNING something.

Pros: It's close to my work

Cons: staff turn over, lack of communication, babysitting not educating,

I found this place on here and decided to go on a tour. I'm a stay at home mom who is just going back to work and looking for a place to send my daughter 3 days a week. The place seemed a little scatter brained and I have decided to look elsewhere. The prices were also a bit high I thought for the type of facility it was. If I can't find anything better than this I guess I'll just hire a nanny unless anyone has any suggestions of where to go. I might as well get my dishes done too for the same price!

Pros: Close to downtown

Cons: scatter brained employees everywhere I turned!

I am currently working for Puddle Jumpers and I have to admit I don't see what some of these other people are seeing when it comes to the management. I think they have done a pretty great job when you consider all the stress they are under. We have had a lot of things going on lately such as licensing and renovations that have taken a lot out of all of us. The director is very nice and helps out when she can. The assistant is also good. I am afraid that many of the negative comments posted here have come from disgruntled former employees as I can't see parents saying those kinds of things about the management.

Pros: A positive working environment.

Cons: Some differences in work ethic. Fairly common in childcare circles.

My daughter currently attends this school. It is a pretty good school. She has been shuffled around a bit with different teachers. Her teachers are attentive to her needs; however the director is not attentive to mine. I ask several times for the same things and finally get answers days later. She has learned a lot here including spanish! I never expected that out of a childcare center. She can count to ten already and knows most of her colors. They have an awesome playground. It's the biggest I have seen in a child care facility. The building is nice also. My daughter has a great classroom which is also big and kept clean and decorated cute. My only complaint is with upper management. So if you can deal with that it's a great place.

Pros: Great teacheres and facility

Cons: The upper half of management is lacking skills of managing

I agree with the first review my children also went here but after having to deal with teachers that did not know what they were doing I found them somewhere else to go. it seems like the director only care about herself and a couple of teachers on her staff. While my children went here it seemed like the teachers who I thought were good (infants, young toddlers, and fours) were not given the praise they deserved but the teachers who were not so good (older toddlers, and twos) were the ones that got all the praises. if you want a good infant, young toddler, or four year old teacher then you should try them but if you are looking for a good older toddler or two year old teacher I would avoid them.

Pros: Great teachers in infants, yound toddlers and fours

Cons: Bad teacher in older toddlers and twos

I don't know what the former post was thinking. My children go to Puddle Jumpers and I am highly satisfied with the level of service and care. My children come home happy most of the time. Kids will be kids. I would recommend Puddle Jumpers to anyone who is looking for a quality day care experience.

Pros: The children seem to be the top priority.

Cons: Staffing changes occur from time to time, but where doesn't this happen in daycare.

This place is not the kind of place you want to send your children. They have a worker on staff who sent a child to the hospital for popping a child's arm out of socket. They don't have appropriate standards for their teachers. On top of all this their prices are outrageous.

Pros: They have a couple of good teachers

Cons: The place is run like a cookie cutter for 4 year olds, only they have a lot more than just 4 year olds their.
