I absolutely love Dr. Good and Alcor Cresta! Dr. Good is so caring and comitted to providing the best possible care to his patients. You can tell how passionate his is about his field, and that he's definitely not just in it for the money. He truely loves the animals he cares for and often goes above and beyond the duties of your average vet. I first started taking my cats to Dr. Good when he was at a different office simply because it was right down the street from my (then) house. How fortunate I was to stumble upon him! It's been at least 7 years since I began going to him and in that time I have moved from Salt Lake to Kaysville and Dr. Good has started his own practice in Midvale. To this day, I will drive clear from Kaysville to Midvale with a whining cat in the car. He's that good! My cat has terrible reactions to immunizations and where other vets would pressure me into trying some new vaccine, Dr. Good understands that his life is not worth the risk. And no matter how long it's been since I've taken my kitty in, he always remembers both of us. I would never trust my cat's care to anyone but Dr. Good!

Pros: Caring staff, great care, never recommends anything that isn't really needed

Cons: drive to Midvale (for me)

Dr. Good is hands down the best vet in the state. He truly loves his animals he treats. He is very easy to talk to, very thorough & super nice. We have been with him for over 9 years & will continue to have him as our vet for every animal we get. He is a pug expert & we highly reccomend him. His staff is excellent as well & they are very polite & helpful. He is very concerned about our girls & our lil boy when he was with us. He past in 2006 & he did everything possible to save him & took it hard when he past. He is not just our vet but part of our family. There is excellent boarding & Grooming services as well. If you are ever to trust your lil one, Dr. Good & his staff are the ones to trust. My parents even drive in from Tooele for his services. He is such an awesome guy, knows his occupation inside & out. I wouldn't trust my kids with anyone else, EVER! We all love Dr. Good!

Pros: Excellent Vet & Office staff. Friendly, great value & very personable. Easy to get into.

Cons: none

I just got a new puppy in July, and as you know with new puppies they require several visits to get all of their shots. Dr. Good and his staff are wonderful. They are all very sweet to both my puppy, and me. You can tell that Dr. Good really loves animals. He always makes sure to get a kiss from my puppy before we leave. His prices are amazing, and won't break the bank. I will continue to take my dog to see him.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Parking can be difficult

My family and I love Dr. Good. My parents drive over an hour each way to take their pets into see him and although I don't live with them anymore- I continue to bring my pets to him. When our family dog started acting funny- we took him into the vet. They did an Xray and he noticed some things that were unusual. He contacted a radiologist (they were out at a conference) on his own time and we found out that our dog had a fast moving bone cancer. We put him down within a week from the diagnoses (went downhill that fast). The vet went out to the truck when we brought in our dog and climbed into the truck and held our dog as he put him down. instead of having us move the dog into the clinic. My fiance discovered he was allergic to cats when he moved in and they helped me find new homes for them. They are active on petfinder and treat the animals fantastic. My puppy is currently a patient of his and we've had to come in to see him many many times due to an accident she was in.He came out to the car in the rain to say goodbye to our puppy when we left last time. His prices are unbelievably great. I will never take my pets to see another vet while he is in practice. My parents are willing to drive over an hour to visit him and if I need too- I will too.

Pros: amazing vet, amazing staff, amazing prices, LOVES animals, easy to talk too.

Cons: Parking in front. There is more parking in the back but its not well advertised

Don't be fooled by the fact that he doesn't have a large & fancy facility. After spending many years at another pet center, we are sooo happy to find someone who cares about our dogs as much as we do. Our dogs love Dr. Good! His prices are more than reasonable, his facilities very clean, & he has awesome energy! We drive right by several other pet centers just to bring our dogs here. Thank you so much for your kind heart.

Pros: Clean, caring, honest, & great prices.

Cons: At times parking can be a challenge, but my dogs deserve this vet.

Dr. Good is the best Vet I have ever worked with. Our dogs LOVE him, our cats love him, and we absolutely adore him. The staff makes us feel like Norm at Cheers, and we can't say enough about his entire operation. Professional, ethical, always clean facilities. He's kind of like the Varmit Whisperer. We would recommend to anyone!

Pros: Preventative practices, ethical, clean facilities, reliable

Cons: Parking is the only thing

His fees are reasonable, his staff is friendly and helpful and he is knowledgable and caring.

Absolutely the most caring Vet I have ever been to. Dr Good and his staff saved my dogs life. He even met me there on weekends to give her shots. The staff is wonderful too, very sincere and caring. Cost of service is reasonable and the treatment plan is well explained. Dr. Good has a way of speaking to his clients where we can understand medical technicalities. He obvously loves the animals and cares deeply for them.

Pros: Outstanding Vetrinary service and Caring Staff

Cons: Location is a little tricky but worth it.

Dr. Good clearly loves his patients; he understands our pets are family to us and he treats them so carefully and affectionately you'd think they were his own pets! I never feel rushed - he's thorough and willing to spend all the time it takes to answer questions and explain procedures. I was so concerned about my older cat, but he carefully explained all of our options for treatment and care to help him. I've had pets all my life and have been to many good Vets over the years, but Dr. Good is head and shoulders above anyone else I've been to. His staff is terrific, too - always helpful and caring. They're very accommodating when it comes to scheduling, too. I highly recommend this Vet practice!

Pros: Outstanding, thorough, caring health care for your pet and they accommodate your schedule

Cons: On busy street, watch for driveway or you'll miss it
