Editorial Review for Wasatch Mountain State Park Golf Course – by Citysearch Staff
The Course
The Wasatch Moutain State Park course, which actually features two layouts (Lake and Mountain), is rarely crowded, though it is best to call days ahead for the reservations you want. The greens and tees feature bent grass, the fairways and roughs bluegrass. The terrain rises and falls, necessitating up-, down- and sidehill shots, and visits from area wildlife (squirrels to elk) are not uncommon. The Mountain course requires golf carts.
The Experience
The surrounding Wasatch Mountains lend to the atmosphere of every round, particularly late in the season when the foliage is changing color. The park also provides practice areas, private lessons and club rentals. Don't play? You don't have to enjoy the facility, which hosts PGA and state-sponsored events.

Wasatch Mt. is the best kept secret in Utah. Along with it's incredible views of mountains (and yes moose on the course) fantastic play on weekdays there is also a great little cafe where you can get the best Mt. Muffins and Cheeseburgers with homemade french fries in the world. Value for money here folks! I'm a transplant into Indiana from you guessed it Midway, UT and used to work at this golf course. BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Pros: Greens are Great, Golf Marshalled Well, Golf Pro is Great!!
Cons: Hackers on Weekends, A lot of ball hunters, Busy on weekends

You guys have obviously not played these courses! Or else you ranked them based on who gave you the best comp deal!! I have played all of them many, many times and Thanksgiving point is far and away the best course. Along with South Mountain at #2, these courses are two of the best anywhere
