The major addition of South Cottonwood Regional Park has brought added beauty and character to this hundred-year-old farm. Jogging trails, picnic areas and acres of bluegrass are all part of the new look. The farm offers a variety of events including a May Day festival, summer camp, scarecrow masquerade and breakfast with Santa. Tokens for activities such as tractor rides are available in the farm's activity barn.

Wheeler Historic Farm is a great park with lots of trails for walking/jogging, as well as animals for the little kids. Best of all, you can get food for the animals at the farm, or bring a loaf of bread with you! It's a great look into the rural life in Salt Lake around the turn of the century, with house tours and wagon rides. It also has milking tours to give city kids a taste of the farm life.
Pros: Peaceful Atmosphere, Free Park, Great Trails
